Presenting Connor Riggs

Connor was diagnosed with Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia in February 2004 at 3 years old. He went through almost 3 years of treatment which included: steroids, chemotherapy, blood transfusions, and many, many hospital visits.

Connor lives in Bel Air, MD. He is in 3rd grade at Emmorton Elementary. He reached 5 years from diagnosis this past February of 2009 and he is doing very well. Connor loves sports. He is currently playing soccer this fall. He will play basketball in the Winter and, of course, lacrosse this spring! He enjoys computers, playing with his friends and he loves math. He spends a lot of time with his little sister, Diana, and is always looking out for her - she is in 2nd grade.

Connor has been healthy and thriving since the end of treatment. He still goes for check ups every few months. We are grateful for all his progress and the support of The Leukemia & Lyphoma Society.
