Presenting Jaidan Richardson

Jaidan was born on July 30, 2004. He was diagnosed with Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia at 18 months old. After the initial 30 days of treatment, Jaidan went into remission. Jaidan has had 3 years and two months of treatment. I am pleased to report that he finished his treatment in May of this year and remains in remission. Jaidan turned 5 this July and had a big celebration to end his treatment.

Jaidan has been an honored patient for the Leukemia & lymphoma Society for the past 3 years and loves being in the spotlight, although he acts shy. He says that "he wants to do this forever" (or at least until there is a cure).

Jaidan loves playing with all kinds of cars, trucks, trains and airplanes. He loves playing with his big brother Jordan and being silly with him. He likes lounging around in his PJ's and watching TV. He likes building things with Lego's and puzzles. He likes playing games on his Leapster and computer. He also likes to play soccer and basketball. Jaidan is now in Kindergarten. He wants to be a Lego house builder or a Police Officer when he grows up.
