Presenting Nicholas Regner

Nick is a 15 year old resident of Baldwin, Maryland. He is a sophomore at Calvert Hall College. Most significantly, Nick is a 12 year survivor of AML. Nick was diagnosed with AML when he was 3 years old. He was treated at the University of Maryland and John Hopkins Hospitals. He received a Bone Marrow Transplant from his sister Samantha who was 8 months old at the time. During Nick's hospitalization our family was introduced to the Leukemia/Lymphoma Society and are forever grateful for their continued support and efforts to cure leukemia,lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and Myeloma.

Over the years, Nick has participated in The Man and Woman of The Year and The Price Modern "Lacrosse for Leukemia". Nick especially looks forward to this event as he is an avid sports fan. He plays baseball, basketball, and soccer for the Carroll Manor Rec Council and enjoys watching baseball and football games with his dad. Nick enjoys snow boarding and skiing in the winters with his family and cousins. Nick also loves his X-Box Live, competing with his friends on line. Academically, Nick has aspirations to go on to college and become an Engineer.
